Our Policy Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation
oigochat (“the app”, “we”, or “oigoworks”) maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward the online sexual abuse and exploitation of children (Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation — “CSAE”). This policy applies to all users, all chat rooms, and all content types within our application.
Zero tolerance. No behaviour, content, or user that sexually abuses, exploits, endangers, or directs others toward such material involving children is permitted on oigochat. Every confirmed violation results in immediate and permanent account termination.
01Prohibited Content and Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited, including but not limited to:
- Any text, image, or link that depicts, describes, or promotes sexual content involving a minor.
- Attempting to engage a minor user in sexualised communication (“grooming”).
- Attempting to isolate a child, coerce them into secrecy, or arrange an offline meeting.
- Soliciting sexual material from minor users, or encouraging the sharing of such material.
- Sharing links, usernames, code words, or references to external platforms that facilitate access to child abuse material.
- Creating or operating accounts intended to access such content.
02Our Prevention Measures
As a nickname-based chat application, oigochat applies the following technical and operational safeguards:
- Age gate: Age is declared at registration; adult-only rooms are closed to minor users.
- Automated content moderation: Messages are scanned by automated systems for CSAE-related keyword patterns, known abuse-material signatures, and suspicious behavioural patterns.
- User reporting: A one-tap “Report” function is available on every chat and user profile.
- Human review: Reported or automatically flagged content is prioritised for review by our moderation team.
- Immediate account action: Accounts found in violation are suspended or permanently banned without waiting for further investigation.
- Blocking: Users can instantly block anyone and prevent further contact.
03Reporting and Legal Cooperation
oigochat reports detected CSAE content and the related account information to competent authorities as required by applicable law. This includes law enforcement in our jurisdiction and, where appropriate, international bodies such as NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children).
Where legally required, we retain the relevant records for a reasonable period for investigative purposes. This retention is an exception to the general deletion periods described in our Privacy Policy.
04How to Report
If you encounter a suspicious account, message, or behaviour:
- Use the “Report” button on the relevant chat or user profile inside the app.
- For urgent or serious matters, contact us directly at the email address below.
- Where possible, include the username, the room name, and the approximate time of the incident — this speeds up our review.
